On 14 October 2015 we collected our first lot of bees.
The bees had made some good natural honeycomb in a low hanging branch of a tree and were causing a nuisance to pedestrians.
After cutting the natural hive out of the tree we collected sheets of the honeycomb and inserted them into empty frames.
After sun set we shut the hive front door, secured the hive box in a trailer and moved it to the new hilltop hive location in the hills.
This morning the bees were busy getting to know their new hilltop hive location and were looking great!
